We aim to achieve this by reducing the embodied carbon in the production process of the concrete and raw materials and by offering Lower Carbon Concrete (LCC) products to our clients.
Concrite has three LCC product ranges:
LC - Lower Carbon
LCP - Lower Carbon Plus
LCHP - Lower Carbon High Performance
Application / Use
Lower Carbon Concrete products cover all concrete applications from residential foot paths to high performance concrete. By replacing cement with SCMs, LCC products have reduced cradle-to-gate carbon emissions by between 4% to 40% when compared to Concrite Normal class mixes for the same strength grade. This can help achieve embodied carbon reduction targets in projects.
